S.E.T. (Skills, Education & Training )

Last year GTTI ran it’s 4^thS.E.T. (Skills, Education, Training) Program that is funded in part through York Region’s Community Development and Investment Fund. 

This program provided 30 unemployed and underemployed community members with pre-employment training and industry certifications such as First Aid & CPR, Smart Serve, Forklift training and much more. 

The skills gained through the SET program have helped the participants become more marketable in their job search, and many of the candidates have received job opportunities as a result of the supports provided in the program.

In April 2013 we will be starting our 5th S.E.T. Program.
